Haha, this made me laugh so hard. Only a Swede could ask this question.

(Sorry, it's in Swedish... Not really sure how to translate)

Jason Mraz concert

To be honest I wasn't super excited about going to Vega last night to see Jason Mraz. He is a great artist, but it's just not fair for anyone to play a gig the day after Håkan. It's not easy to compete with him. To me it's actually not possible at all. And the fact that Håkan was playing in Århus and I was longing to go there instead didn't help either. Sorry, Jason! But we did have a good time at Vega though. Jason Mraz did a really good show, and I like his music. I would have liked to hear some more of the old stuff though...

We had some fun at the station while waiting for my train...

Jason Mraz - If It Kills Me

Hello, tell me you know
Yeah, you figured me out
Something gave it away
And it would be such a beautiful moment
To see the look on your face
To know that I know that you know now

And baby that’s a case of my wishful thinking
You know nothing
Cause you and I
Why, we go carrying on for hours on end
We get along much better
Than you and your boyfriend

Well all I really wanna do is love you
A kind much closer than friends use
But I still can’t say it after all we’ve been through
And all I really want from you is to feel me
As the feeling inside keeps building
And I will find a way to you if it kills me
If it kills me

Well how long, can I go on like this,
Wishing to kiss you,
Before I rightly explode?
This double life I lead isn’t healthy for me
In fact it makes me nervous
If I get caught I could be risking it all

Baby there’s a lot that I miss
In case I’m wrong

Well all I really wanna do is love you
A kind much closer than friends use
But I still can’t say it after all we’ve been through
And all I really want from you is to feel me
As the feeling inside keeps building
And I will find a way to you if it kills me
If it kills me

If I should be so bold
I’d ask you to hold my heart in your hand
Tell you from the start how I’ve longed to be your man
But I never said I would
I guess I’m gonna miss my chance again

All I really wanna do is love you
A kind much closer than friends use
But I still can’t say it after all we’ve been through
And all I really want from you is to feel me
As the feeling inside keeps building
And I will find a way to you if it kills me
If it kills me
If it kills me
I think it might kill me

And all I really want from you is to feel me
It’s a feeling inside that keeps building
And I will find a way to you if it kills me
If it kills me
If it kills me
It might kill me

Som Mejeriet älskar Håkan

Yesterday was so lovely. Eva and I drove to Lund to see Håkan at Mejeriet. We stopped by Malmö to buy the cute floral vest from Monki, that we've been looking for.
We got to Lund a few hours before the co
ncert, so we had time to walk around a bit, and we got some very delicious thai food. I found the moon on the street...

Som jorden älskar månen...

Lund is such a cute city. It was so strange to see
it all again. It seemed different, yet familiar.

There was quite a long line of people outside Mejeriet, but as always the Swedes were behaving so well and keeping the line very straight.

Som raketen älskar explosionen...

We got a very good spot in the crowd close to the stage, and everybody was so excited. Before the show started everyone sang "För sent för Edelweiss", "Nu kan du få mig så lätt", and "Känn ingen sorg för mig Göteborg" together. Mejeriet is the cutest place. I felt like stuffing it in my pocket and bringing it home with me. Copenhagen needs more places like this.

It was the 14th time we saw Håkan Hellström in concert. I believe we hold the Danish record!
The concert was fantastic. It's always difficult to describe the atmoesphere afterwards. You just have to be there to feel it. Everyone in the crowd as
well as on stage were having a blast, and Håkan was full of energy like always. We recorded some video as usual:

Precis som Romeo

Earlier this year when Håkan played in Copenhagen, I was so happy that he sang "Minnen av Aprilhimlen". It was in April, so it was perfect. I didn't expect to hear it this time, but it was such a great surprise!
(I better warn you, Alice. The memory car
d was full right before he got to your favourite part, so I didn't get it - sorry).

Here is the set list:
1. Tro och tvivel

2. Magiskt men tragiskt
3. Jag vet inte vem jag är men jag vet att jag är din
4. Precis som Romeo
5. Minnen av aprilhimlen

6. Klubbland
7. För en lång lång tid

8. Gårdakvarnar och skit
9. Långa vägar
10. Känn ingen sorg för mig Göteborg

11. En vän med en bil
12. Kärlek är ett brev skickat tusen gå
13. Rockenroll blå ögon – igen

14. Kom igen Lena!
15. En midsommarnatts dröm

16. Vi två, 17 år

Som Hurricane älskar guitarren...

It's impossible to say which song was the best, but "Rockenroll, blåa ögon - igen" was amazing. So sweet lyrics. And when soap bubbles came down it looked like snow. Take a look...

I wish we could be in Århus tonight, when "stans bästa band" is playing at Train.

Song of the day: Håkan Hellström - Precis Som Romeo

Liseberg i mitt hjärta

It almost hurts to read this.
I can't decribe how much I would have loved to be there...

Sa-tur-day night!

I'm so excited about Saturday night! Eva and I are gonna borrow the Saab and drive to Lund to see Håkan Hellström in concert at Mejeriet. Time for another road trip and good times. I haven't been to Lund for so long. I used to go there every Winter to play a tournament with my team... It's gonna be fun to see the city with different eyes.

We've decided to go to the Friday bar tomorrow. It's been too long since we had a really good and cozy Friday afternoon there, so we're trying to get everyone together. I have a feeling this semester will be over before we know it, so we really have to enjoy these times while we can...

A night with Emmylou

Last night we went to see Emmylou Harris in concert in Copenhagen. It was lovely. She has such a pretty voice... Kimmie Rhodes did a great job warming up, and I bought one of her albums after the concert. She signed it for me and wrote "To Camilla. Love like a song."

This Fall is full of concerts. I have quite a busy schedule:
  • 23-09-2008: Emmylou Harris
  • 27-09-2008: Håkan Hellström
  • 28-09-2008: Jason Mraz
  • 14-10-2008: Martha Wainwright
  • 19-10-2008: The Hold Steady

My wish list - part 3

I have been looking at these Converse boots for a while now. They are absolutely great. So old school and perfect.

And they would look so cute with this sweater from Forever 21 and chinos. A perfect and Swedish-inspired outfit for this Fall.

Just another summer

Fall is definitely here, and Summer is gone. It's so cold and dark outside. It almost seems like we went straight from Summer to Winter.

I cut off my festival bracelets some days ago...

Some of the best memories are definitely from Way Out West and Roskilde.

It has been a great summer, and I keep wishing it wasn't over. This afternoon a train to Göteborg stopped at Hellerup station when I was waiting to go home. I felt like running to the other platform and jump in, so I could go to my favourite city. But reality seemed to stop me, unfortunately.

Song of the day: Moneybrother - Just Another Summer
Now the summer is just another summer
And your lover is just another lover...

Going viral

Tonight Jeanette and I went to a very interesting lecture. It was about viral marketing, which we both love working with. The guy giving the lecture seemed to have such an awesome job, and it was so inspiring. He had worked on some of the best campaigns, such as "No suger, no bulls***!" and "Dynamite Surfing". (If you don't know these, please do yourself a favour and stop by YouTube).

The sky was always tangerine ♥

A trip to Malmö

Some days ago Eva tried to convince me to borrow daddy's car, so we could drive to Malmö. But that turned out to be unnecessary, when Karen called me asking if I wanted to borrow her car this weekend, as she was flying to Berlin. Who can say no to that?
So today Eva and I jumped in the Punto and went shopping in Malmö city. It was a nice and sunny day, and the view from Öresundsbron was lovely.

We have a favourite place that we always go to for lunch. It's called Bageri Caféet, and they serve the best chicken bagels (and cookies for dessert). But we realized something very sad: they are closing! We were very lucky to eat there one last time. Today was the last day they were open. Det är hemsk, men det är sant.

It's such a cute little place right in the corner of Saluhallen. Malmö won't be the same without it...

After lunch we went shopping and playing. I had fun with the water in the canal, and we went to Monki, Weekday, Åhléns, Designtorget, Granit and Lagerhaus. And last but not least we went to ICA Maxi, because we wanted to bring home some Norrlands Guld and Pripps Blå.

Driving home was even prettier than the trip over there this morning. We crossed the bridge at sunset, and the sky was pink.

Song of the day: Bo Kaspers Orkester - I Samma Bil
Tusen år och tusen mil, vi sitter i samma bil.
Om det här är vad du vill, kan jag åka tusen till.

A great surprise

Dani called me this afternoon asking if I had plans tonight, or if I wanted to go with her and Louise to the premiere of Jonathan Spang's new stand-up show.
I absolutely wanted to go, and I'm so glad I did. My cheeks still hurt from laughing. It feels so good to spend a whole night laughing!

I found this picture on a website some days ago. The Fiat 500 is so cute.

We got the job

Today we finally heard from the architects. They want us for the job! They chose us. We're ecstatic!
I can't wait to get started on the project. We're meeting with them on thursday, so we have to do rough boards and come up with ideas. It seems like the perfect 4th semester project. I can't believe how lucky we are...

Song of the day: Melody Club - Electric

Oh let's be pretty!

Let's dress up! Let's have a party! Let's look like this!

Nästan som hemma

Eva and I went out for dinner and drinks last night. Perfect burgers and beer at Sebastopol. It was a nice and warm night, and it feels like Summer is not over yet, even though it's September.
Then we went to Gefährlich, which is really cozy. We had a few Somersby ciders and then walked to Funke. There seemed to be some teen-party going on, so we left and walked towards the city center. We passed by an ATM on Nørrebrogade, and Eva noticed that someone forgot their money, 100 kroner. We decided to take the money and run straight to Kalaset, which has become my new favourite place.

I'm still longing to go back to Sweden every day, but Kalaset actually feels like being there. It's such a cute place with old radios on the walls and lovely furniture. I had Päroncider with fresh blueberries in it - now THAT is Swedish. I'm a bit disappointed they didn't serve Pripps Blå and Norrlands Guld though... Just German beer.
We were talking and dreaming about having a place like Kalaset. There would be hallonpaj on people's plates and Evert Taube on the jukebox.
I should have brought my camera...

Yet another goodbye

I think I've been saying a lot of goodbyes this year. It's no fun... And yesterday it was time for yet another one. Carina is leaving for Spain on Monday, so we met at Skt Hans Torv to hang out one last time. We had the best smoothies and crumbles, and we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine. I'm gonna miss times like this for the next six months...

The girls posed with their best cheesy smiles for me!

Then my mind turns into my heart

Like Sarah once said: "Every female takes pictures of herself."

Played with Photobooth some days ago...

Right now I'm listening to Martha Wainwright. I love her voice. I think I'll go see her in concert again this Fall. Maybe Eva can come along this time, and I bet Dani is up for it as well. Would be lovely!

Waiting for trains and architects

Still waiting to hear from the architects. I really don't feel confident about this one. But no news is good news, right?

I just got home after a looooong meeting. I managed to stay awake through the whole thing though. But I almost fell asleep on my way home, cos I had to wait for the train for ages. Fortunately Q was going the same way, so we waited together. The dark and empty train station didn't seem so creepy after he arrived... We talked about basketball and how different Denmark is for him. He went to Copenhagen today - on a sightseeing boat and then to the round tower. He loved the view from the top, and he had even spotted Sweden from there.

I got some great news: Sarah is coming back to Denmark at the end of September! Can't wait to see her. I haven't seen or talked to her since May.

Raymond & Maria

Today I've been listening to Raymond & Maria. Så många himla fina låter!

Snart så går jag fram och tar din hand utan att fråga...

Ni kan prata men jag tänker inte lyssna
Ni kan skrika men för mig så är ni tysta
