Om kärlek och solsken och sånt

I absolutely love those sunny but yet really cold Winter days. Today was like that. The sky and the light was so pretty. It was a day full of kärlek as the Swedish crownprincess got engaged to her Daniel, which I found was very sweet. It was a day full of unexpected things - but fortunately the good kind of unexpected things. I really want to know what the future will bring, because maybe it's not all that bad after all... Maybe it's just all about passion, knowing what you want and going after it.

Sometimes I dream that I live at Hovdala Slott. I went there last Summer, and there was the prettiest balchony.

Would you freak out if...?

Hello Saferide is making me smile and wonder these days. They are playing at Mejeriet in Lund tonight, and I would love to go. But unfortunately I'm sick...

You look nice alright
And I like the way you nod after everything I say
Like it actually means something to you

And I like your record collection
Townes and Jens with a hint of Rickie Lee
And you've cleaned up the bathroom, made a really nice soup
but a bit too much sci-fi in your shelf with DVDs

But there are things you need to know about me
I'm weak right now, so weak right now
I need proof before I dare to open this heart
So I've prepared a quiz for you

Would you freak out if I said I liked you?
Do you walk the line?
Is your IQ higher than your neighbours?
And is it very much higher than mine ?

Can you sleep when I grind my teeth?
Do you look away if I slob when I eat?
Will you let me be myself?
Can you at all times wear socks? Because I'm still scared of feet

And if I'd fall, would you pick me up?
If I'd fall, would you pick me up?

Do you talk in the middle of Seinfeld?
Do you read more than two books a month?
Do you get racist or sexist when you've had a few?
Is it fine if I make more money than you?

Have you slept with any people I work with?
Is there anyone you'd rather wish I'd be?
Do you still keep pictures of old girlfriends?
Are they prettier than me?

And if I'd fall, would you pick me up?
If I'd fall, would you pick me up?

In sickness and boredom

Today Jeanette and I wondered when this year will stop being so crappy. It seems like nothing works out the way it should, and everything goes wrong.

Things that suck right now:
- Unemployment
- Job hunting
- Sickness
- Sore throat
- Gossip
- Cold weather
- Aging
- My addiction to Facebook
- My foot
- Not being able to play basketball
- Mean comments on my Stildagbok
- Ky moving to another country
- Bartenders

Things that cheer me up a bit:
- MSN Messenger
- E-mails from Alice, Pernille, Dani and Carina
- Soup
- Blogs
- Hot chocolate
- Music
- Movies

Things that would make it all better:
- Summertime
- A job
- If Alice was here
- Luck
- If a certain person is a liar
- Going to New York
- Still going to school
- If Ky was here
- Girls' night out
- Milk and Oreos

6th picture

I have been tagged by Alice.
"Open the 6th picture-folder on your computer, open the 6th photo and blog it. Write something about it. Then tag 6 more people to do the same."

This is a picture of my sweet sister Eva on a sunny but cold day in the Fall of 2008. It was a beautiful day but kind of sad as well...

We went to see The Soundtrack Of Our Lives last night in Copenhagen. Such a great night of rock 'n' roll! It was just what I needed even though I was completely exhausted after three nights of partying and one basketball game.

After the gig we went to buy their new album, and it turned out to be some of the most fun I have ever had buying merchandise. Completely chaotic! The band sold it themselves but didn't know the prices or sizes of anything. When I asked for the price of the album Martin goes "Well, how much is a CD in Denmark these days?"
My favourite part had to be when Ebbot found something that appeared to be someone's gym bag comtaining a towel and nasty underwear.
I got the album. Signed and everything.

How little we know

Who told you love is the Alfa and Omega?
And that your heart will lead you to the only one?
It’s a curse, it’s the hammer that will break you,
It’s a poison hidden in a bon bon

Don’t you know love is stronger than Jesus?
Don’t you know love can kill anyone?
Bring it on; wars and diseases
You know that love can do you like a shotgun

Can’t resist them, the sailors and the soldiers
Taking aim, a rabbit on a rifle range
Pay no mind to what your mama told you
You’re the fool who’s chasing down the candy cane

it’s a riddle how lovers can stay alive
but we bloom and breathe in all decline

Don’t you know love is stronger than Jesus?
Don’t you know love can kill anyone?
So bring it on; wars and diseases
You know that love can do you like a shotgun

o, oh no
o, oh no

See the people heading for disaster
standing in line just looking for a little fun
love is a fire, a hot hot blaster
with a vengeance burning in the Kongo sun

We’ll believe there’s trust in strangers
any monkey looking like a saviour
It’s a riddle how
we’re still living now
Oh, how little we know, oh

Don’t you know love is stronger than Jesus?
Don’t you know love can kill anyone?
so bring it on; wars and diseases
You know that love can do you like a shotgun

Fashion Week

It's fashion week in Cph and we have decided to take advantage of that. Yesterday we went to a great party and tonight is yet another one. We're all unemployed and spend our time and money partying... Maybe not the most clever idea, but it sure is fun!

Magic magnets

My fridge has a lot of magnetic words on it, and my guests love playing with them. The morning after my last party I found these lovely combinations...

I never know who wrote what... That is left to imagination.

Everyday is like Sunday

Today is Sunday but it doesn't feel like it. Lately it's been feeling like there is nothing but Sundays all week long... School is over and I haven't found a job yet, so I have so much free time. Too much, I think.
I don't really want to work. I just want to go back to school, go skiing, go to Sweden, or maybe even go to New York City.
