Rejection

Honestly... I need things to stop going wrong. Nothing seems to be working out the way it was supposed to. Right now everything is so uncertain, and every time I get my hopes up and take one step forward, it feels like I'm pushed two steps back.
I will not let this lack of luck put me down, and I still need to believe that Summer is going to take the pain away. Officially Summer starts this Monday as it is June 1st, so from that day on things will be better. That's what I believe. That's what I want. That's what we need.

Drunken Sailor

I just found this little guy here

Birthday Party

Jeanette and I had a huge birthday party last night. 60 friends came and celebrated with us. We had Champagne, Mojitos and Blueberry Bitches all night.

Søren brought cool balloons for us... But unfortunately some sneaky people killed them.

Time went by so fast. We played pool, ate chips and had fun... and all of a sudden it was closing time, so we moved on to a silly gay bar. I would really like to relive the whole evening (maybe with a different ending!), so I could talk some more to everyone. I was so happy to see some of my favourite b-ball guys and sweet Kira, but some people (no names mentioned) disappointed me once again. A big thank you to my sweet girls, who are always there when I need them.

The choir in my chest is always stuck on the chorus

The past week has been a little crazy, so I have had no time to blog. I have been through tests to get into the school of my dreams. It was so stressful but fun at the same time. Now I just have to wait, wait, wait... and wait until June 30th when I get the final answer telling me if I got in or not. So if you have any advice on how to make time fly by really fast, please let me know.
Apart from tests and assignments this week has been about Eva's birthday, Florence Valentin, party planning, and last but definitely not least silly and cute phone calls...

A great party is coming up this weekend. I hope it will bring some great stories to tell.

Jag vet inte vem jag är men jag vet att jag är din

I went for a walk today and I found something very unexpected. Take a look at this graffiti someone did at a bus stop close to my place...

You usually NEVER see Håkan-related graffiti any where else than Sweden, so I couldn't really believe my own eyes. But it was so cute. Now I just can't stop wondering who did it. I swear, it wasn't me and it wasn't Eva... Who can it be then??

Balchony waffles

Yesterday I made waffles with yummy hallon stuff and blåbär for Eva and myself. We sat in the sunshine on my balchony and drank the "hallonsaft" I bought at Hovdala last Summer. Mmmmm!

Loppisfynd

Last week at the flea market I bought something that was older than my grandfather...

One day we're young and by the next one we're old

I turned 24 yesterday, and it kinda freaked me out. I know it sounds stupid, because I'm still young and bla bla bla... But seriously, how the hell did this happen? I thought I was still 22 or maybe even 20! What if I one day wake up and I'm 40? That is one scary thought.
Aging is no fun... but fortunately birthdays are, because you get presents and cake! The coolest present I got was these head phones from WESC. So awesome with anchors and everything.

The celebration was quite cozy and quiet for now, but later this months Jeanette and I will have a huge party. It's gonna be so much fun. I can't wait.

Tiger Lou och gamla gubbar

Yesterday was a perfect Saturday. After the trip to the flea market Eva and I drove to Malmö for a bit of shopping and the Tiger Lou gig at KB.

We found a very sweet choir of "gamla gubbar" wearing sailor hats and singing songs about Spring.

We had ice cream. I picked the one with "hallon" of course...

And after a great dinner at Mello Yello and a lot of waiting, waiting and waiting at KB... Tiger Lou!!

Flea market season

Flea markets are so much fun, and yesterday I went to my first one this Spring. It was sunny and perfect, and everything was so cheap. Loved it. I bought the cutest summer hat, some scarves and a few other things...
